Here are 100 Random Things about me!

100. I am very, extremely picky about the way my hands feel.

99. I have a very difficult time finding a suitable hand lotion because of this.

98. I have thrown away a 3/4 completed knitting project because I could no longer stand the way that the yarn was feeling and making my hands feel.

97. My favorite TV shows are all cancelled shows, a show about a dead girl, a crazy girl, and old girls.

96. I don’t watch much TV.

95. I do follow one show consistently, Days of our Lives. My friend, Maria, and I go home and watch it every day during lunch.

94. I can get way too involved.

93. Before I started knitting and began collecting yarn, i ‘collected’ cosmetics.

92. I have over/approximately 200 tubes of lipstick/lipgloss.

91. Obviously, I have an addictive personality.

90. I am the only child of divorced parents.

89. I belive that my personality exhibits this—I get aggrevated when I don’t get my way or when things don’t go as planned, yet I don’t want people to be upset with me.

88. I am very organized and I love to make lists.

87. Pink is my favorite color.

86. I get annoyed when people don’t like pink simply for the sake of not liking pink.

85. I let little things annoy me.

84. I am not a big meat eater (as in, I never eat a steak), but I could never be a vegetarian.

39. When I see pregnant women’s bellies that are really big, it really freaks me out and makes me never want to have a baby.

34. When I turn 25 in March I am going to stop counting birthdays.

32. I can still be very immature, and most days I still feel like I should be about 12 years old.

30. I have always lived in the south: Tennessee, Louisiana, Mississippi.

29. I was born in Chattanooga, TN on March 21, 1982.

28. I was a blonde baby and child.

27. Now I am a ‘blonde’ adult with the help of my colorist.

26. Sometimes I wonder if I should go back to my natural color, but then I think, if I hated it before what makes me think I won’t hate it now.

25. I don’t actually remember what color it is exactly, but I think I have a fairly good idea.

24. I have been coloring my hair for over half my life.

23. I used to want to try and sing, but I think I might be tone deaf.

22. I can tie a cherry stem in a knot with my tongue.

21. Without my glasses or contacts I cannot see.

20. My paternal grandfather was blind.

19. Both of my mother’s parents are still living. Neither of my father’s parents are.

18. I am lucky enough that I was able to know them all.

17. My dad’s mom, Nana, taught me how to chain when I was about 8 or 9.

16. For some reason, she never taught me single crochet or anything else.

15. She would be glad that I am knitting and crocheting now.

14. I, and the rest of my cousins, call my mother’s father by his name, Gene.

13. I think it is hilarious when I am at their house and answer the telephone and people ask me if they can speak to my ‘PawPaw.’

12. I have tried to teach my mother’s mother, Memaw, how to knit.

11. She caught on but is not practicing like she should be!

10. I am the oldest grandchild on my mother’s side and the youngest on my father’s side.

9. When I was in Italy, all of the little boys thought I was ‘beautiful’ because of my hair.

8. Apparently, they haven’t seen that many blondes.

7. I am slightly superstitious, but less so now that I am older.

6. I used to foolishly think that things completely out of my control were affected by my actions.

5. I despise going to the post office.

4. I love to shop!

3. My shoe size is 8. I think that this is the most common shoe size for women, so I guess you could say that I am average.

2. Right now I also wear a size 8.

1. I am trying to fix that.

    Love your blog ! I only got to read a little….it is getting late !! I left you a message on Ravelry and I clicked on your link there. Check out a new blog the clumsycrafter on wordpress, I think (it looks a lot like yours) ………it is a girl whom I took a crocheting class with in Cleveland, MS a couple of months ago ! Her name is Corley Mullins. She had inspired me to do a blog, but I have yet to get my daughter to take the photos for what I wanted to do !!
